How do SEAI grants for the Defective Concrete Blocks Scheme work?

You can access SEAI's One Stop Shop Scheme, subject to the scheme terms and conditions, if you're DCB remediation works are approved by your Local Authority/Housing Agency.

Due to the exceptional circumstances of impacted homes, you can avail of SEAI grants if the measure(s) being installed has been removed as part of remediation works.

No. Any house regardless of when it was built can avail of SEAI grants under this scheme.

Yes. You can avail of the Home Energy Upgrade Loan Scheme (HEULS) as long as the works meet the requirements of the scheme:
The upgrades must be eligible for an SEAI grant and be projected to achieve a minimum 20% uplift on the current energy performance, of the dwelling based on the BER.
A pre-works BER is required on the home to be remediated.
